"When I first moved to town in 2022, I needed a safe place for my puppy, Ray, to stay, and Weona’s quickly became his favorite spot. “I chose Weona initially for convenience because I work on base. I started taking Thor in June 2023 for an all weekday (0700-1530 M-F), and occasional overnight boarding, including extended stays. Thor gets excited the moment we pull into the compound and announce himself to the employees; I get the sense of security and peace of mind that Thor is taking care of, especially for a senior dog. The manager/some employees also own senior dogs to relate with and often ask how Thor is doing, including if he has eaten (he’s a picky eater but they have figured what how to deal with him), when I drop him off and get a report on how he did when I pick him up.

I have used all the boarding places in the area except for the newest two, and Weona is the only one that Thor enjoys staying with, and to me is the ultimate deciding factor. I do not think you can beat the price point, level of service and satisfaction, and would highly recommend them without hesitation.”

“Weona Pet Resort is truly more than doggie daycare or boarding for me. To me, Weona is my dog’s second family.

I love that the employees take the time to get to know each dog, their personalities and quirks to ensure that they are placed with the most compatible dogs to ensure safe and fun playtime. Each yard has shade and a place to get out of the elements, dog friendly equipment and my dogs favorite, pools! For the winter months, I really enjoy that they still get outdoor playtime but also feel comfortable knowing that they have large, indoor heated kennels that they get to stay cozy in as well. I get reassurance knowing that when I get close to Weona, both my dogs start wagging their tails and whining with excitement and when I pick them up, they are both so happy and definitely ready for a good nap! To me, when it comes to the care of my dogs, there is only one option and that’s Weona and their staff!”
