Each yard has shade and a place to get out of the elements, dog friendly equipment and my dogs favorite, pools! For the winter months, I really enjoy that they still get outdoor playtime but also feel comfortable knowing that they have large, indoor heated kennels that they get to stay cozy in as well. I get reassurance knowing that when I get close to Weona, both my dogs start wagging their tails and whining with excitement and when I pick them up, they are both so happy and definitely ready for a good nap! The manager\/some employees also own senior dogs to relate with and often ask how Thor is doing, including if he has eaten (he\u2019s a picky eater but they have figured what how to deal with him), when I drop him off and get a report on how he did when I pick him up. I have used all the boarding places in the area except for the newest two, and Weona is the only one that Thor enjoys staying with, and to me is the ultimate deciding factor. Weona started as a kennel for the military K9 team when Malmstron AFB didn\u2019t have a facility. Weona opened in 1953 as Great Falls\u2019 first boarding kennel.<\/p>

Weona has had a few owners and lease operators over the years. In 2009, Sandy and Rick Larson took over ownership and have been working diligently to restore and improve the kennel. With lots of clean-up and care, Weona is once again the kennel of choice. Weona now offers expert pet care with over 25 years of experience with both small and large dogs and cats.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
